Mission:
With the increasing number of people suffering from depression, anxiety and other emotional disorders that lead to personal, marital, and family problems over the past decade, Inner Voice Psychological Counselling Centre was established in 2012 on a mission to provide high-quality yet affordable psychological counselling and treatment services. Run by a senior retired pastor and senior psychotherapist, Arthur Chan, who has a master’s degree in counselling and theology, as well as multiple professional counselling qualifications over the past 30 years, Inner Voice Psychological Counselling Center combines psychological techniques in the spirit of Christian care.
Psychotherapy Content:
Counselling and treatment of personal psychological and emotional illnesses, including:
psychological rehabilitation of mental patients such as depression, mania, panic, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, adolescent growth problems, marriage and family problems, chronic patients/critical illnesses, hospice/grieving counselling, addictive behaviour counselling, divorce relationship counselling, pre-marital/post-marital growth counselling, interpersonal conflict mediation etc.
Senior Psychotherapist / Marriage and Family Therapist:
Arthur Chan is a senior psychotherapist, marriage and family therapist, and retired senior Christian church pastor with 30 years of in-person counselling experience. He holds a master’s degree in pastoral counselling from Acadia University in Canada and other relevant professional training. He is a specialist in treating personal psychological and emotional illnesses, including depression, mania, panic, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, adolescent growth problems, marriage and family problems, chronic illnesses, hospice/grieving counselling, addictive behavior counselling, divorce relationship counselling, pre-marital/post-marital growth counselling, and interpersonal conflict mediation.

Volunteer:
In addition, Arthur has volunteered to provide clinical pastoral care at numerous elderly hostels, nursing homes, non-profit social welfare groups and hospitals.
In nursing homes and senior living institutions (such as Cambridge Nursing Home, Oi Tak Old People’s Home Limited, Pok Oi Hospital Yeung Chun Pui Care and Attention Home, etc.), clinical pastoral care services are provided voluntarily.
Non-profit institutions, (such as the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, the Young Women’s Christian Association, and Stewards, etc.), offer voluntary community care services.
Hospitals include (Queen Mary Hospital, Tung Wah Hospital, Shatin Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin Hospital, Shatin Cheshire Nursing Home, Bradbury Hospice, Castle Peak Hospital, Pok Oi Hospital, and others) offer voluntary clinical pastoral care services.
Online Video Psychotherapy Services:
Comprehensive online video psychotherapy services are now offered by our center.
Our center has been established in the Grand Plaza office building in Mong Kok since its founding in 2012. Given that, in the years after the pandemic, people’s demand for psychotherapy has grown in importance and intensity.
Online video counselling has grown to be a significant global trend and needs to provide beneficiaries worldwide with timely support and assistance, irrespective of their geographic isolation and influence. It also offers beneficiaries more comprehensive support, which includes:
1) Psychotherapy can be scheduled at any time and from any location to suit your needs.
2) You receive greater privacy and secrecy and are not required to meet in person at a certain location.
3) It also safeguards everyone’s health by lowering the chance of contagious infections.
You can choose to conduct online psychotherapy via WhatsApp video call / Signal video call / Zoom meeting / Google Meet video call, or you can choose to conduct it via voice call only, depending on your needs.
Online Video Psychotherapy Fees:
Individual Psychological / Emotional Counselling Fees
50 minutes per session HK$500.
Marriage / Family Therapy (two or more people)
50 minutes per session HK$700.

Terms and Policy
1. Appointments, Payment, and Cancellation
Once the appointment date and time have been confirmed, payment instructions will be provided. Full payment must be made within 24 hours after the session is finished. All payments are non-refundable.
If a client needs to reschedule or cancel an appointment, they must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Requests received less than 24 hours before the appointment might result in the session being cancelled. The client will be required to book a new appointment.
2. Confidentiality and Duty of Care
We are ethically and professionally obligated to maintain the confidentiality of your counselling sessions and personal information.
However, confidentiality may be breached when required by law or ethical duty, including but not limited to situations in which the therapist believes there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or if you are involved in illegal activities or life-threatening situations. In such cases, our centre may contact or refer you to appropriate public authorities, emergency services, or relevant support organisations.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to participate in counselling with sincerity and commitment, attend sessions on time, and take responsibility for their own behaviour. Clients agree to make reasonable efforts to ensure their own safety and the safety of others.
4. Late Arrival
Clients are required to attend sessions on time. If a client arrives late, the session will be shortened accordingly and will still end at the originally scheduled time in order to respect other clients’ appointments. No refunds or extensions will be provided for late arrivals.
